If you know Adobe Illustrator properly and you work fast, this job is for you.

This is the one role at EpicDigital where we need the skill before you arrive. Our template, our file standards, and our process we will train you on. The Illustrator ability you have to bring.

It is a production role. The creative direction and the layout are already decided, and the work is executing briefs quickly and correctly rather than inventing a new concept every time. If you enjoy getting a lot of good work out the door, you will like this. If you want to spend three days on one logo, you will not.

What the day looks like

• Build t-shirt artwork in Illustrator from a text brief or a rough reference
• Work inside our fixed template for layout, type, and colour
• Vectorize raster references cleanly, with no stray points or open paths left behind
• Hand over print-ready files that pass checks the first time
• Hit a daily output target, agreed with you in the interview rather than handed down

What you need

• Working Illustrator skill: pen tool, type handling, expand and outline, path cleanup
• A portfolio with real production work in it. Typography t-shirts count for more here than logo concepts.
• English good enough to read an audience brief and understand what a phrase means before you set it in type
• Speed, and honesty about it

What you do not need

• Years of experience. If your portfolio is strong we do not care how long you have been working.
• Original concept work or a personal style. We are not asking you to art direct.
• Print on demand experience, though Merch by Amazon, Redbubble, or Teespring is a plus
• Your own machine or licence. We provide both.

On degrees

We have never asked a designer for a certificate and we are not going to start. Your portfolio and the paid trial decide this. Nothing else does.

How we train you

Your first week is our template, our file standards, and the checks a file has to pass before it ships. The Illustrator work you already know. What takes a few days is learning how we want it built, so that what you hand over goes straight through instead of coming back.

About your portfolio

A Behance link, a Drive folder, or your own site all work. We would rather see ten finished production pieces than three award entries.

About your cover letter

Short is fine. Tell us honestly how many finished designs you can produce in a working day. The trial task will show us anyway, and a realistic number is worth more to us here than an impressive one.

Compensation

BDT 16,000 – 25,000 / month

For this role the portfolio decides the number. Show us production work you actually finished and we will talk about the top of the range.

Every role starts with a three-month probation period.
